| Pixies’ Holt Class 5 went to Pixies’ Holt at Dartmeet on Dartmoor. They did lots of exciting activities such as mountain biking, orienteering and shelter building. They also had fun in the evenings with a Britain’s Got Talent show. |

| A Midsummer Night’s Dream We performed the Shakespeare 4 Kidz’ version of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. It is written in modern English largely but some of the most famous lines and poetry is retained. There are also 12 songs to sing! We were also lucky enough to be able to watch the children’s version of Macbeth at Plymouth University |

| Beaford Centre Class 6 went to the Beaford Centre in north Devon for their residential visit. They had a local artist work with them. They sketched the hills, woodlands and fields near to the centre and used their sketches to do felt making and paint the landscape in water colours. |

| Clay World War 2 Evacuees Having pretended to be world war 2 evacuees, we each made some evacuees sitting on a bench in clay. We fired them in the kiln and then painted them. |

| World War 2 Day We had a world war 2 day when everybody dressed up as if they were evacuees and two men from Exeter Museum came and they acted as a policeman and an air raid precaution warden. We learnt how to use morse code and what to do with an incendiary bomb. |

| Totnes Buildings On a visit to Totnes, we sketched the shop fronts and made clay slab models of when we were back in school |

| What Christmas means to me Classes 4, 5 and 6 put on a Christmas show called "What Christmas Means To Me". |

| Tea Towels and Tinsel Years 1, 2 and 3 put on a musical for Christmas called "Tea Towels and Tinsel". |

| Class 5 Victorian Day Class 5 had a Victorian Day as part of their history project on the Victorians. |

| Fire Station Class 2 had a visit to Torquay Fire Station. |

| Class 6 history day in Totnes Class 6 spent a day in Totnes to support their history studies. |
