Class 6 history day in Totnes
Class 6 spent a day in Totnes to support their history studies.<.p>
First they went to the Tudor market where the stall holders dress in Elizabethan costume. They then had a tour of the museum where they learnt how life was for a rich trader in the 16th century. They concentrated on the living room with a four poster bed and enormous fire place and the kitchen displaying all the food there would have been.
Finally they went to Totnes Castle where they dressed as Saxons and Normans and had a battle!
